The waters of Los Cabos are teeming with life, from the smallest marine creatures to the leviathans of the deep. This is due to geology, ecology and the chance convergence of two great bodies of water, the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean.
It is particularly the big tuna and dorado, the muscular marlins and sailfish, that have brought sportfishers to Los Cabos, Mexico for more than 50 years. Most of the fishing visitors to Cabo San Lucas choose to go out in 28- to 35-foot cruisers for their expeditions, though customers wanting a lavish fishing excursion on a luxury yacht can opt for boats over 100 feet long.
We recommend Pisces Fishing Fleet to our fishing customers. Boat captains and crew in Los Cabos are all seasoned sailors, and each Pisces boat offers choices in tackle and amenities, as well as instruction for beginners.

Depending on the captain's read of catch opportunities for the day, he may head straight for the fishing grounds or start trolling lures soon after leaving the harbor. At the fishing grounds, the deckhand will attach lures to the lines and position the lures at various distances behind the boat as it slows to trolling speed. The captain will then systematically cover an area of the ocean where he believes the fish are. The thought of battling a huge sportfish can be intimidating. If you are a complete novice, don't worry, the experienced crew will help you through every step of the fight. By day's end you'll be feeling like a seasoned professional.
Other than some first-timers, or those who intend to eat the big sport fish, many anglers practice the conservationist-advised 'catch-and-release' method. The Billfish Foundation has recognized Pisces on numerous occasions for releasing the most striped marlin throughout the year on a world-wide basis.
